is there a way to limit the list of help topics to to agents of that deartment as currently all the topics show for users of all departments. thanks

Admin Panel > Agents > Agents > click one > Permissions > Miscellaneous > Departments
Then attach Help Topics to Departments and Agents without the permission enabled can only see Help Topics attached to their Departments or Help Topics with no Department set.
