LDAP Auth with Parent and Sub Domain instances

so i have the ldap auth working but we have a parent domain and a sub domain
i have the parent domain and sub domain added as separate instances under the plugin.
each instance works fine on their own but when both an enabled login stops working.

auto register works for users when only one is active i have tried to login with shordomain\username and just with username and i get access denied when both instances in the plugin are enabled.

when i try to add an agent the auto populate does not work anymore either and i have tried selecting each ldap option since there is one for each instance.

Are you running PHP 8.2 by chance? If so read this comment:

It’d be worth trying it to see if that helps your issue. The only thing it does is update the Net_LDAP2 package we use for our plugin.

Also, when both instances enabled have you checked the web server and PHP error logs for any related errors? Have you also checked your AD logs to see if connection and auth attempts are being made or if it’s not even making it that far?

I did update using the thread and was not able to resolve the issue with the update alone.
i was able to resolve the issue by creating only one instance with just the parent domain and then when adding the ldap controllers you have to add the Global Catalog ldap port number and not include any OUs and just only have the parent DCs
