In the Knowledge Base tab, I placed some manuals and highlighted them. It says it will appear on the home screen, but it doesn't. Do I have to activate any parameters?

You have to enable the Knowledgebase first under Admin Panel > Settings > Knowledgebase > Knowledge Base Status.
