Subject missing for some tickets for some users

Hello,
I am using osTicket v1.17 (1d8b790).

I am having an issue with certain users which for certain tickets the subject is not displayed at all in the que.

I have tried restarting apache, mariadb etc but without success.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Upgrade to one of the latest supported versions.
You can dry deleting the _ticket__data table and running cron a bunch of times until it’s recreated and fully repopulated with data.

I am not sure if I understand you correctly.

Do you mean the table ticket__cdata?
And could you please explain by what you mean run cron a couple of times?

In the database there is a table called _ticket__cdata. This houses the data used for queue columns, etc. if Subjects are kissing it’s likely they are missing from the ticket cdata table. So you can attempt to fix this by deleting (DROP command) the _ticket__cdata table and running cron manually a bunch of times to automatically recreate the table and repopulate it with data. The cron file is in the api/ folder. So the command would be something like /usr/bin/php /path/to/osticket/api/cron.php. You’d replace the /usr/bin/php part with the PHP command specific to your server and you’d replace the /path/to/osticket/ part with the full path to osTicket on your server.

Thanks, I understand what you mean now.
The problem is that in this table the subject for this ticket is ok. Actually for all the tickets. The problem is that for a couple of users, the subject is missing for some tickets. Which seems quite strange. Do you still think I should proceed and delete the data?

It’s a temporary table that gets dropped and recreated all the time so it wouldn’t hurt to try it. Also, can you show a screenshot of what you mean? How were their tickets created (via email or web portal or api)?
