Error: Mail Fetcher on SPAM message

Hi to all,

In some cases, when the email address set on OsTicket receives a SPAM message that does not contain an email in the message sender, OsTicket does not download the message and leaves it in the "inbox" folder.
This causes recursive errors every time OsTicket tries to download the message.

Excessive errors processing emails for ssl://in.hiddent-for-support-request.it:993/IMAP (name Info <info@hiddent-for-support-request.it>).

Please manually check the Fetch Folder () [1/10 - 0/1]

How can OsTicket be configured to handle this case?

It’s basically saying the system cannot process that message for whatever reason. Since it can’t be processed it cannot be moved. This means you will need to manually move the email out of the inbox so it can continue fetching.
