I have 20 users that need to have same email address and different other properties.
So in my test environment i changed address properties so it is not unique.
And it works fine and i was able to update addresses i needed, so when opening new ticket for all those 20 users only one email gets notification that is what i needed.

Will this affect any other functionality in osticket ?

Users and Agents are required to have unique email addresses.
Just because you changed it to not require a unique value... doesnt mean that you wont run into other issues.
That being said you are really on your own for this as you are modifying the product.
