I am new to osTickets and I am setting upa demo copy for the big wigs...

How do I get osTicket to send an email to a user whenever the user sets up a new ticket?

New ticket is enabled on autoresponder but osTicket does not send the email.

Start of by checking Admin panel -> Settings -> Alerts and Notices

Then check the department to make sure that new ticket notifications are not disabled.

Admin panel -> Staff -> Departments -> your department -> Auto Response Settings
