Hi,
I have a few things that i am curious about, maybe you can shed some light on them. 🙂 I totally respect honestly over anything else, please be openly honest with your answers, i may not like the answers but the honesty may keep me around. 🙂
It appears that my top tier host (vary large) has removed OsTicket from its cPanel softaculous distribution. I am curious why, as i know of several large hosts that no longer offer it. I dont ever use those installs but usually when they remove something there is a reason. Were there fees involved, is it due to the rebuild, were there issues ?
I am also curious if OsTicket has changed their media marketing? Checking more than 10 sites for popular bug trackers and OsTicket was not listed among any of them. In the old days i used to see OsTicket everywhere, that is how i originally found it. What happened, why is OsTicket dropped from so many lists?
What is the size of the developement team working on the new version (or fixing issues with the latest version), 0-10, 11-30, 31-60 or larger? Or is this simply being done via github contributions?
How long will you support the latest stable version after 2.0 is released ? I am trying to figure out if i will need
to change over to 2.0 quickly.
I love OsTicket the way it is presented structurally, i love the frontend layout and the flow. Will that all change with 2.0?
I do not like bug trackers that look like kiddy candy stores like trello or jiro see images below... Is this what 2.0 will look like?
Will i be able to port over data from latest stable version to 2.0 easily?
KevinTheJedi, why are you the only one that seems to reply to technical questions? Are you the only one that moderates the forum?
