Reply only to collaborators possible?

Sorry for the noob question. We are evaluating osTicket for our needs and one use case we have a lot is to ask individuals for input without notifying the original requestor.

For instance the requestor asks a question and we don't know the answer so we add a SME as a collaborator and want to ask them for input without the requestor being notified. Is this possible? I only see the option to send to User + Collaborator or all.

Either create a separate Ticket for the intended collaborator from a thread entry from the original Ticket or create a new Ticket for the intended collaborator and Link the new Ticket with the original so you can see they are related.

You can only respond to the user only, everyone, or no one at this time. To send separate replies you must have separate Tickets.
