Hi all,
Having been in and out of this informative and interesting forum over the years, I notice a common issue people raise is that of the status of tickets after a user is deleted.
A common solution seems to be to transfer the tickets to another user. But what if we don't want that new user to have access to all the past tickets?
Would it be feasible to have a button - instead of "delete user" - "deactivate user" or "archive user"? Their personal details could be scrubbed and then their record hidden or renamed as "archived user" or something?
I thought about creating a user on every org, just for archived tickets. But the issue I have is that they would show up in all my searches when searching for a user. Gets a bit messy. So it would be good to be able to hide them from general user searches.
Would be good to hear others' thoughts, opinions or workarounds.
Thanks!
