AGENT Username - not possible to have a numeric value only?

Our employee-Account-IDs are 9 digit numeric only (e.g. 123456789).
It looks like osTicket does not allow a numeric value as username for Agents.

As we are required to use the Oauth2 Plugin to execute authorisation for Agents against our Azure Directory, it is required to have the Employee-ID (numeric value only) in the Username for the Agents.

Does anybody have an advise or know how to tweak osTicket to accept a numeric value for the Agent Username?

Tested in a new installation -> latest versions of: osTicket Version: 18.1 & auth-oauth2 Plugin

Nope, they have to contain at least one alphabetic character. You can modify the code to your liking of course but we cannot assist with that.

KevinTheJedi Thanks Kevin, is there any plan to have that function changed in a future version of osticket ?

As of today it is also not allowed to use the email address as the Agent Username (@ is blocked). Are there plans or any advise to change this restriction?

Not at this time but it has been a feature request for a while. So it may be considered in the future.
