Multiple Crons

Good news! I Upgraded to 1.18 no problem!

Now for the question: Is it possible to set up multiple crons for osTicket and define those crons for specific uses?

Scenario:

Cron 1: Used for fetching emails (I was able to set this one up successfully easily enough).

Cron 2: Used for a plugin instance or API.

How are you planning to use cron for a plugin instance or the API?

For plugins mostly (correct me if it's different for an API). I found an autocloser plugin from clonemeagain, and I noticed that it has an option to run every cron. I have one cronjob setup for email fetching, but for the plugin I wanted specify another cronjob for it to run every Friday at 10AM.

I'm realizing that this is sounding like a topic for a 3rd party...

Yea that’s a topic for the 3rd party. We do not support 3rd party mods. And assuming it piggybacks on osTicket cron then there would be no way to separate them without modifying the code or adding a new cron file to call that only calls the plugin methods.
