I am also facing this problem.
The first day, the connection to scp works. The next day, when I open my browser and the OS Ticket SCP tab is still open, my session has expired so I have to log in again. At this point, I'am still getting the message "Authentication required".
When I open the devtools and manually delete the "OSTSESSID" cookie, I can log in.
Our whole team has the same problem.
Our instance is currently running version 1.18.1. We have noticed the problem since version 1.17.2 was installed previously. We didn't noticed this problem with previous version we used.
Our OS Ticket instance has been upgraded several times since we've been using OS Ticket for more than 10 years now.
During these updates, we backed up our ost-config file and re-use it on the new version (as adviced in the documentation)
When using a "new" browser without any tabs reopened the day before, the connection seems to work.
Having said that, reopening previously used tabs in the browser is a common practice these days...
