LDAP Search does not appear to be working

Hello, we're running OsTicket 1.17.5 with Apache 2.4.55/MySQL 10.6.12 and PHP 8.1.12.

I have been having an issue for a few months whereby the LDAP search to add new agents does not work. If i select 'Authentication Backend as AD or LDAP and start typing in the username field, nothing is found. However I can still add users if i fill out all of the boxes manually.

Hopefully it's something simple to fix, it's not a showstopper but I would much prefer if I could get this resolved.

You will need to check your logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors/issues. You can also check your AD logs to see if a search is even being attempted and if so if it returns actual results.
