Why am I unable to use "Check Ticket Status" function is there something I am missing out on?
PaveNess
Check the Ticket with that Number and see who the Ticket Owner (User) is. Only the Ticket Owner (and any Collaborators) can use this method to check their Tickets.
Cheers.
KevinTheJedi Yes, I am testing out this function so I am the using the users email (ticket owner) to check with corresponding ticket number. Still getting access denied
What is the User's Account Status? Also, are you sure the emails match up? Can you go to the User Directory, click on the User, and compare the emails?
KevinTheJedi yes its the same user and its user account status is "Active (Registered)"
Ah, your number is actually Ticket-538086.
KevinTheJedi When i try "Ticket-538086" there is no more access denied, however this logs me out of my user account. Why?
Have you tried clearing all cache and cookies and try on an incognito window?
KevinTheJedi If Check Ticket Status doesn't work, it is due to cache?
Not all the time but that’s usually the first thing to rule out when experiencing such issues as random logouts, form submission issues, etc.
KevinTheJedi Could you tell me any other ways to solve if "Check Ticket Status" is not working I would like to put it in my User Guide.
Other than searching for the wrong Ticket Number or using an email address that does not match the Ticket Owner or a Collaborator, that’s pretty much it.
