Correct, the API in the current (legacy) codebase is very basic and limited to only Ticket creation + running Cron. We are currently rewriting the entire software and labeling it v2.0. This new version will have a fully RESTful API however the current (legacy) codebase will never receive such an API.
If you are looking for such functionality in the current codebase you’ll have to write your own scripts.
