Upgrade issues

When I try to upgrade to v1.18 (from v1.10.7) I get a message Error occurred. 'Aborting
Please wait while we upgrade your installation. Something went wrong.'

Then

Migrate to osTicket v1.18
Thank you for taking the time to upgrade your osTicket intallation!

Please don't cancel or close the browser. Any errors at this stage will be fatal.

Applying updates to database stream: core
In order to upgrade to this version of osTicket, a database migration is required. This upgrader will automatically apply the database patches shipped with osTicket since your last upgrade.

The upgrade wizard will now attempt to upgrade your database and core settings! Below is a summary of the database patches to be applied.

v1.17: Add Modern Email Authenticatin (OAuth2) Support
v1.17: Move Plugin Config store back to central config
v1.18: Modify Plugin / Instance name to varchar(255)

Not sure where to go from here.

Click Dashboard > System Logs and look at the error it logged.

Upgrader - e2b4e5cb (task pending).
The PluginMigration task reports there is work to do

Then it sounds like you are having timeout issues of some sort. I would fully restore from backup, update all of PHP's and your webserver's timeout settings to increase the time limits, restart the web server (and PHP-FPM if you’re running it), and retry the upgrade. If it happens again just keep clicking Upgrade Now (when it appears) until the migration completes.

I managed to do the following...
upgrade from 1.10.1 -> 1.10.7
--> 16.6 -->17.4 --> 18
