weird problem with LDAP plugin

Hello,
We're on osTicket v1.15.4 with LDAP 0.6.2 plugin working for 2 years.
In the last week few old users and new users get randomly access denied.
LDAP is on Windows server 2019
I have no idea how to debug the issue, as I don't see errors anywere (except failed Login attempt in the dashboard).
Any clue?

Then it sounds like it failed. You need to look at your LDAP logs to see if it’s failing there.

Also that version is outdated and no longer supported. Might want to consider upgrading.
