Choosing canned response Focus Area

Just upgraded to latest 17.x

When clicking on the Canned responses list. It doesn't focus on the text bar to start typing to filter the canned responses. This was working in the 15.4 version

annoyance you have to click 2 times before you can start typing to filter out responses.

No idea, I would have to look at the code to see why.

That’s a little overkill though. TechDeviceRepair said it was previously working with 1.15.x so there must be code that exists that does this already. Whomever made the pull added a whole new function which is complete overkill and unnecessary.

This is a bug with jQuery 3.6.0 and Select2. jQuery 3.7.0 has been released with the fix included. I will make a pull shortly with the updates.
