Hi, I tried to move a ticket to a different department the other day, I got a spinner and it took long time so I reloaded the page. now I can't move or delete that ticket. how should I proceed to fix the issue? thanks.

You will need to recreate the issue and look at your logs (general server logs, webserver error logs, PHP error logs, MySQL/MariaDB error logs, osTicket System Logs, Browser Console logs, etc.) for any related errors.

I cant see anything in any logs when I attempt to move or delete the ticket and I get the shaking red error and it says "unable to transfer selected ticket".
Where would OST be logging more info about why it cant transfer (or delete) the ticket?
Are you or one of your Teams directly Assigned to the Ticket? Is the Ticket in a Department you have Primary or Extended Access to? Do you actually have a Role in the Ticket's Department that has the necessary permissions to do such actions? Is one of your Departments Referred to the Ticket?
Doh! That was it, thank you. I only had view access even though I am the system admin.
Maybe consider making the error message more informative as to why it cant complete? Might save a future user.
