This is a new installation, with literally no other configuration. I go to admincp > emails > create new. I create a new email and add the remote mailbox configuration. Fine!
I go to the outgoing tab, where I can type in my hostname, post number, and save...
But if the "status" box is Enable, regardless of the other fields are blank, they have been changed, or they have content saved from before but there are no changes now, trying to save with the status enabled will always lead to blank page.
There are no error files, or logs in the dashboard, to indicate why.
EDIT: Just enabled Debug logs and the blank white page still doesn't generate any system logs.
FURTHER EDIT: I found the SMTP settings in the ost_email_account MySQL table, and manually changing the "0" to a "1" has worked, and the emails page of the admin panel correctly reflects that it is now enabled, so it looks like the issue with how the page sends data to the MySQL database
