I'm receiving errors but it's working....slowly. Within 3 minutes email is picked up and turned into tickets. This could be my crappy mail server as well.
However, emails are being picked up from the inbox and turned into tickets then deleted even though I have "move to another folder" enabled. (Inbox/folder). Not sure why this is happening.
For example if 3 emails are sent to the mailbox they'll stay. When more are sent these 3 will disappear and the new emails will be sitting in the inbox waiting to be picked up. It could happen with any number of emails. The problem is, it's not archiving them. Now idk if that's the mail server falling on its face or something else.
Which user should the cron job be running as? "www-data" is who I have running the webserver hosting osTicket. Should this be root or another user?
Also which options should be turned on for email fetching via a cron job? Only "Enabled" to the right of the Email Fetching option right? Not "Fetch on auto-cron".
Server is Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS and osTicket is 1.17.3.
