Mail problem: "This is a message in Mime Format"

nicolafarina it's my server. And the SMTP server is configured and called the same.
I asked the server admin and told me that port 25 is unsecure, and we need to use 465, but with 'No Authentication' Option, I can't setup SMTP using that port.
If I select 'Same As Remote Mailbox', I got the error 'Configure Mailbox Authentication'.
If I want to choose 'Basic Authentication (Legacy)', I'm asked for a password of no-reply account, password I don't have.
I don't know how to set the secure port and make it works.

Also, you should change the Name of the email account from the email address to an actual name with no special characters.

Can't say more, you need to work with your server admin to achieve a working SMTP connection to your server. As for the MIME warning, it's related to the SMTP used also.

Special characters like @. The Email Name should be an actual name, not the email address.

Hi, I have the same problem
the mails come out with mime format
I use a gmail account
This started since I updated to version v1.17.3 (ca95150)

Your SMTP is not configured correctly. TLS Port 587 requires authentication. You have yours set to None so it fails and falls back to Sendmail. You need to properly configure SMTP and retest.

finally what I had to do is go back to the previous version of and this way it works perfectly.
