What do you mean exactly? You add the List to a Form and when the User/Agent selects a list item you can hover over the value in the Ticket Header and it will show the associated properties for that value.

To add more properties you can click the Properties tab when viewing the List under Admin Panel > Manage > Lists > click a List. Then you can edit the property values per-list item by clicking the list item and clicking the Item Properties tab.

KevinTheJedi hi, going back to this topic, would it be possible to have the Abbreviation of a custom list showing up next to its value in the ticket details or so? So not like I requested earlier that it shows once you hover it instead just put this (second) information right next to it if its filled out. So if you update the item of the list the abbreviation also updates automatically.

Potentially, it just depends on how the team sees re-implementing it. You can always submit a feature request on GitHub.

KevinTheJedi so it’s not just changing 2-3 lines in a class.php form or so to change it there is more behind ? Just wanted to display that abbreviation depending on the value.
Sorry I’m not too deep into programming just have some basic php knowledge

Yea it'll be much deeper than that. As if you want the abbreviation to be automatically updated then you'd have to lookup the item by the ID, get the value and abbreviation, translate it (if it has translations), and then display it. If you just rely on the DB it will show the pure value and abbreviation that was saved, not what's currently updated if that makes sense.

Hi, i know this thread already old but may i ask the reason of remove hover information in ticket detail as it will give bugs? may i know what bug will occurs when the function still there?

Please read the thread above. We removed it due to issues. It’s been so long I can’t remember what the issue was exactly, you’d have to go look at the commit history to see why. If you re-apply the changes you would do so at your own risk.
