How often should language packs and plugins be updated?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering... when the core osTicket program needs to be updated, you get a notification via the dashboard. But how do we know when the languages and plugins need to be updated? Should we always update them along with the core files?

Always update them when you update your code. Should be standard practice with any application.
