I'm using a docker from devinsolutions that is still on 1.16.3. They appear to be working on a 1.17 release, but this got me wondering what docker images folks use. I'm not a docker expert by any means, but it looks like the official docker is 2 years old now? Is that correct?
Recommended docker image for 1.17

I'm of the opinion that's the case as I didn't find any other images that seemed to be official from OST devs when I was building out my docker environment.
Would certainly be nice for an official update from the dev team, but I completely get if its not even on their radar. The likelihood someone setting up OST can figure out their own solution and modify things accordingly to work for them is pretty good.

Someone beat us to creating an osTicket account and is using our official namespace. We've contacted Docker and are in the process of recovering our namespace. We don’t have any Docker images at all.
With this being said, we will not be releasing a Docker image for legacy code (the current codebase) however we will with v2.0. Docker is not something we use at all so we’ve never entertained the idea. However, one of our new hires likes using it and is working on one for v2.0. Once v2.0 is released the Docker image should be released shortly thereafter.
Cheers.
Great news, and "you go new guy"!
Hello,
Looking forward to using docker'ized "osTicket"!
When v2.0 is going to be released?

No set timeline but we hope to have at least an RC out by end of 2023. This is not a promise nor a set date just what we hope to accomplish.
Cheers.
