Yes, for Office365 email accounts you now need to upgrade to v1.17 and configure the new oauth2 plugin.

This will allow osTicket to use modern authentication to the IMAP service. Microsoft have turned off legacy authentication and now require modern auth since the start of Oct.

You first have to click Submit in the popup, you should be redirected to MS to authenticate the Email Address in question, then you should be redirected back to the helpdesk, and then you should have a Token where you can then save the email configurations.

Hie Auth Plugin working now.Am curious when a user sends an email it auto replies once that ticket is created, although the auto reply email from my helpdesk goes to junk is there a way to construct the email such that it doesnt flag as junk mail
You’ll have to find out why first. Could be due to bugs already addressed, could be email setup related, could be the recipients mail filters, etc.
Have people mark the email as not junk?
