On 10/4/22 I had no trouble searching for data found in tickets but when I logged in today 10/5/22 I couldnt search for single strings of ticket information where as previous I had no trouble. The advanced search still operates as it should but using it takes time away from what I need to be focusing on. Is there a way to set the parameters on what can be searched for or am I just out of luck?
Unable to Search for information found in ticket data since the update

Correct just a handful of numbers found in each ticket that I search for to quickly access open tickets

You must now put strictly numbers in double quotes to search through actual entries and such. Using just numbers will search through ticket numbers only. We did it to improve performance but people are yelling at us so we might update it eventually to allow it again.

I just tried the "####" method and it pulls every ticket available with the most likely appearing at the top. Previously I hadn't noticed any lag or pause when searching for only numbers understandably my data is only 1 year long if that makes sense. I still would prefer to quick search using numbers found in the tickets.

I would agree that searching on numbers is useful and it would be good to have functionality restored.
We add a form to tickets relating to purchasing to record the PO# and often will search for the PO# in the later week/months to find the ticket relating to something which has been finally delivered.
I tested the search out when I saw the commit but for some reason I thought it was working still for form fields. In some testing today though it does initally show an email address (correct for the ticket where the PO# is stored) but if you hit the search button it then doesn't show a result.
Using "####" does work correctly however.
If it is finding a result during the type-ahead functionality then I guess it isn't improving performance much for when the search button is later pressed ?
@shawn-knudsen A tip with using the advanced search is to enter your term then hit the looking glass symbol to do the search. If you hit enter or click on one of the search ahead results you usually end up with all tickets raised by the email address instead of the results of your search term.
