Can anyone tell me how to either turn off required Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) from the backend or through the database, or how to enable/configure email from the backend. Where is the MFA configuration files/settings stored? Please advise.

Thanks,

The problem is, nothing is emailed because it hasn't been sent out and therefore, I never get the code :-(

Yes, concerning the first link, but that only tells me how to do what I have already done and doesn't address the issue that I'm facing. The second ink does the describe my situation perfectly, however, there are plugin flags set in the database because I didn't install the MFA plugin prior to this situation :-( I know that I have committed a rookie's mistake. That said, I would think that a fail-safe would be nice for future reference that would not allow this to happen if you have not already set up email. Had I installed the MFA plug-in before turning this flag on I could have used a third-party authentication app and would not be locked out. Thanks for the offering and the second link would have done the trick if only I had installed the plugin first. Again, thanks and God bless,

We have to rewrite a couple plugins anyways to support multi-instance and this is something we’ve already discussed and plan to add in future updates.

    Cheers.

KevinTheJedi Thank you so much, with your help I was able to find it and changed the value from 1 (on) to 0 (off) and that worked. If all else had failed, I know that I could start from scratch, but I figured or at least hoped that there would be a backend way to reset this. Fixing is how I learn :-) Again, thanks, and God bless.
