Good day to all. I am sure this was probably addressed somewhere before, but I am new to the system and am trying to figure it all out all out alone. So far, so good. However, I am trying to determine if there is a way to have a task within a ticket, inherently, and how I can do that. If anyone has a resolution or direction, I would appreciate some assistance. Thank you.
Tasks
Yes, if you have the appropriate Role Permissions to create Tasks in the Department you should be able to see a Tasks tab within the Ticket. Click this and you can click Add New Task to create a task linked directly to the ticket.
Cheers.
My Apologies KevinTheJedi I don't think I was explaining what I am trying to do, in the way that I want.
I've got it down, adding tasks to current tickets, however I would like to have a task built within a Help Topic, so when a particular Help Topic has been chosen to submit, the task related to the ticket is already available, and is in the ticket each time the said Help Topic is chosen. I hope I am explaining this better!
"I chose Help Topic "Assistance" and type my description" I then chose the task drop down in this ticket (Before being submitted) and the task of Tech I Foloowup" opens, then I submit the ticket."_

That’s not possible at this time. You’re talking about something like Canned Tasks which was actually in development a few years ago but subsequently dropped when the developer responsible for the (huge) feature was no longer with the company. We haven’t picked it back up as we’ve focused on other major features and more recently v2.0 (full codebase rewrite). We hope this is something we can add after v2.0 but at this time it’s just a feature request.
Cheers.
