Do osticket uses the "email address" in the email configuration to filter the messages downloaded?
For example if I have a single emailbox that holds two emails ddresses in gmail (company+depto1@gmail.com , company+depto2@gmail.com) and then in osticket I'll add two emails accounts each one configured with its own email address but fetching from the same gmail account company@gmail.com (same username/password), would os ticket created each ticket on the right department? Can this setup lead to other issues like ticket loss?
