1.17 Stable?

Hi Dev Team,

Just a question, when do you except to publish the final version?

We need urgently a version with Oauth2 / Modern Email Auth.

When it becomes stable. We never have set release dates for any of our products. It just depends on the bugs reported, how long it takes to fix them, etc.

Do you already have an estimate about the stable release of 1.17?
Since the basic authentication will be disabled on October 1st, we need to switch to oauth as soon as possible.

Even if you don’t have fixed release dates, it would be great if you could give us a rough estimate on how much longer it could take.

I mentioned this in another thread but stable is releasing this week.

And yes, wec_jrk is correct. They have a final opt-out that extends your basic auth until the end of 2022.

It is possible to delay the disabling of basic auth in Exchange Online by requesting a per-protocol opt-out. This is supposed to delay things until 1st Jan 2023.
