I don't see a button that allows staff/agents to reset their own password. Does such a button exist? I just wanted to check here to make sure I'm not missing anything. I'm uploading a screenshot of the information area in the admin panel.

    devadi_dev They are able to reset their own passwords. If they are still able to login, then they can click the "profile" button at the top right and change their password either by doing so in the portal or sending a Password reset email. If they are unable to login due to a forgotten password, then another agent can either change it for them or better yet for security send a password reset email and the agent can then change it. Both options are under the same "Set Password" button.

    The best way is for the Agent to attempt a login. This will fail but will give you a button for Forgot My Password. The Agent will click that, input their email address associated with their Agent account, and the system will send them a password reset email.

    So there is an exception to this. If you are using an Authentication plugin and dont allow all other back ends ... reseting their osTicket local (db) password wouldnt actually let them get in.
