- Upgrade to the latest release and retest.
- Remove the
ssl://
and retest.
- Remove the
ssl://
, use port 587, and retest.
- Make sure OpenSSL is installed on the server and is up to date.
If all else fails, contact your hosting provider/server admin and/or mail provider for further assistance. Your hosting provider/server admin will have access to your server logs and will be able to see any related errors. You mail provider will have access to the mail logs and should be able to tell you if there is an issue on that end as well.
