It appears that you Linked them but the events say "merged". I cannot replicate this so I am unsure what's going on here.
In any case you should always post a screenshot of your Admin Panel > Dashboard > Information page so we know what version you're running, etc. Please read the following post and update this thread with the requested information afterwards:

Ahhh that's your issue. Please read the requirements before upgrading osTicket. You would've seen that v1.16.1 REQUIRES PHP 8.0; PHP 8.1 is not yet supported. Please downgrade your PHP to 8.0 and retest.
