Hey, sorry about the very delayed reply. I don't seem to get notifications when people reply to me. I can certainly create an article on how I achieved this, for sure.
One caveat is that if you're using standard MySQL, then you can't have the data refresh live (only once per hour), but you can if you're using the MariaDB fork. Also if you don't want to pay for a Power BI License (about £8 per month), then you can use an open source product called Metabase instead. Both work really well, but as a 365 house, it made sense to keep everything under 1 managed console and have our reporting through PBI.
