We are running on Amazon Lightsail using Bitnami.
Our system has been running for a couple years using the attachments on file system plugin. Sometime around March the attachments stopped going to the file system and started only being stored in the database. The attachments work but aren't where I want them obviously.
I have older snapshots of this server that still work as intended so I assume something has changed or has broken but I have no idea what to look for or where. Thus far I've gone through all the posts I can find about this issue and triple checked my settings in OSTicket. I have completely removed the attachments plugin, reinstalled, re-enabled, set the attachments location setting to file system, and restarted the server with no change in behavior.
I can find no log entries to determine if OSTicket can't push files to the file system and is falling back to the database or if it's not even trying. I also don't really know which logs I should be looking at to find such an error.
Any ideas on where to start with fixing this? Am I going to have to rebuild from scratch or update from an old copy? Are there portions of OSTicket files that I can swap that would fix it without a full rebuild?
