Problem with Help Desk Audit Plugin after server migration

After server migration (among other issues) no there is no Audit info on the user pages.

basically the audits tabs is empty.

I've tried disabling and re enabling to no avail.

Does anyone know if the data is stored in the DB or in a File? could this be a permissions problem?

This information is stored in the database (specifically in the ost_audit table).

If you did a complete back up to move / migrate to another server then you should have the details.

I checked the DB and I can see it is being updated. but the details are not visible on the Audit tab. For both users and agents. could it be a permissions issue ?

Does your DB user have access to every table in your database?

The current DB user has all privileges and I see it can write to the audit table.

You can try to upgrade to current. Maybe there is some wierd issue on the old version of the product that I dont know about.

I've finally managed to migrate to a different server.

db user has access to all the tables.
I've reinstalled the plugin

but the issue persist

do you have any ideas on how to proceed?

went ahead and upgraded to the latest versión, but the issue remains. if I go to the Audit tab it displays no information.

but the audit items are being written to the ost:Audit table

so it seems to be a "display" problem.

Was the old server running LiteSpeed? (this is not a supported webserver)
Are you running any security softwares on the server? (such as mod_security, seLinux, etc)

Where in the documentation does it state LiteSpeed isn't supported?

I am looking for a formal statement that I can point to, so we can start moving off the hosting provider we currently use (only litespeed), and over to one that runs only apache.

I am not sure about the previous server. I will check with our hosting provider. we are on a shared hosting (cpanel) no additional security as far as I can see.

So yes. The previous server run on Apache. Is there any workaround available to make it work on litespeed? I beleive i'be seen some hosting provider advertising osTicket running on it.

Can you make LiteSpeed work? Sure.
Can you make NGINX work? Sure.
Can you make other webservers work? Probably.
But you would be on your own to figure out how.

Presuming that you copied over all database tables from the original database and all the files the end result should be a copy of the original. If you are not seeing the exact same thing, then something wasn't copied.

ntozier as far as I can tell, everything was copied. I'm thinking it could be a permissions/ownership problem (maybe even in the previous server also)
