Problems rename ost-sampleconfig.php

Hello, I'm trying to install osTicket 1.7.0 on windows7 prof. with EasyPHP version devserver-13.1vc11. When does the setup I get the error configuration missing! configuration file does not exist. Follow steps bellow to add one.

Rename the sample file /include/ost-sampleconfig.php to ost-config.php

But in the include folder I have already taken steps to rename the file to ost-config.php. Why this error?

Rename the file...example: 1_ost-config and the copy it

1_ost-configcopy.

and then rename it again to ost-config.php

nothing to do, I always get the same error. It seems an easy thing however is becoming complicated

1. go into \include.

2. rename ost-sampleconfig.php to ost-config.php

3. check the permissions to make sure that your webserver software user has access to it.

I checked the permissions are as a local administrator and tried to add the Everyone

I did a refresh to the web page, but does not work

2. should not be ost-ost-config.php it SHOULD be ost-config.php

3. I guarantee that your webserver does not execute files as admin or everyone. But since you haven't told us what webserver you are using I cannot really guess for you.

Sorry, I mistyped I meant I renamed sampleconfig.php to ost-config.php.

The webserver that I use is EasyPHP-devserver-13.1VC11

My guess would be that the user that Apache is running as doesn't have permission to read the file.

I personally do not trust bundles that install multiple pieces of software like EasyPHP and prefer to manually install all the packages I need. I've read a lot of complaints from users about weird things like this, so it could be a configuration issue in your package.

I used easyphp because on this server use e107 cms and did not want to install apache and mysql type components duplication. What do you recommend?

But the user apache on windows as it is called?

That would be a question for EasyPHP. I have no idea how they setup Apache.
