Hi there,
Im using osticket to manage some ticket's and i have a custom form with some custom fields. One of those fields is an dropdown menu, only visible to the agents (it states an internal state). I triyed to stablish a default value to been set in tickets entered via public web (end user don't see that field), but i can't get that value when the ticket comes in. it comes with empty value. agents can see the field, and also can stablish the correct value, but i want the ticket to come with the custom value as it enters so i can filter it from a queue.

Anybody knows if is the standar behavior that internal custom fields can't get default values when entered from public interfase?

Some idea about how to make that work?

Thanks in advance.
Sorry about my poor english, i'm spanish speaker.

@fnixt

Since the field is not available to End-Users, when they create tickets this default value will not be saved. If Agents open the ticket on behalf of the User the default value will be saved (as it's available to them).

Cheers.

Thanks a lot for the clear and fast response, i guess i'll have to find some other way to deal with the queue to show those tickets without value together with the ones that already have it.

Have nice day!
