I need to pass values in querystring for custom fields.
I see this was possible in the past.

Not real sure what you are talking about. Have you tried Search?
It's very simple, I would like to pass a parameter via URL to open.php in order to fill a custom field. Let's say my custom field's variable name is 'foo', I would like to call
and see the word bar in my foo field.
You can only populate the Fields available in the Form(s) shown on the Ticket Creation page. If the Field is not shown there osTicket will refuse to save that data (security reasons).
I have put the fields in my form, obviously. But I can't fill them via URL (GET).
Then you will need to inspect the POST request and structure your requests the same way.
Why are you talking of POST?
My request is related to GET, not POST.
I need to call the open.php page of OsTicket and pass a variable with a value for a custom field.
You are not understanding, but I think this is EXTREMELY clear
I get it now. You cannot do this with the current codebase. You'll need to modify the code to accomplish what you are looking for. As with all customizations, you are on your own.
KevinTheJedi As with all customizations, you are on your own.
Please provide some hints for me to start with that.
Isn't this the right place to discuss of customizations?
I am not aware of anyone else that has done this, and if some one has I do not recall anyone posting about it.
