There are some recent posts here talking about osTicket issues related to PHP8, which is not compatible yet.
Does anyone know if there are plans to make osTicket with PHP8 compatible in short?

osTicket does not support PHP8 at this time.
Yes the devs plan to support PHP 8. https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/pull/5903
