I'm having an issue where the max length setting isn't enforced on new tickets. I have it set to a max of 30 characters, but users are able to submit tickets with much longer character counts.
Issue Summary is email subject. I do not believe that you can override this, nor do I feel like you should be able to since you would be breaking email RFC guidelines.
Understood. So, any value set on this specific field is ignored and is instead governed by RFC specifications?
That would be my understanding for this specific field.
