Problem with users when I do an update

I have the stable version 1.7.0 of osTicket updated from 1.6ST and when I try to update it, for example to 1.12.5 or 1.14.6. the person who has the problem, therefore the user as defined in the new versions, are not maintained and when the update is carried out a random user is taken and is repeated for example 20 times in tickets that do not belong to him.

I think I have found the problem. We used the same email for several different people and the update program assigned all the tickets with the same email to the same person. Can someone help me thanks a lot.

You would have you go through your users and assign them unique email addresses.
