Draft ticket

Is there a way to save/draft ticket before it is sent as a open ticket alert? I need to draft the ticket and then come back to finish it off later.

Sure. Open it in a new tab. Fill stuff in... walk away. Come back hours later and finish opening the ticket.

You can always open another tab in a browser if you need to do other things in osTicket.

If you mean like an email draft that you close out of and then come back to then not really.

I don’t like the idea of opening other tab. I was thinking more a long the line of a draft button. Or a way not to open the ticket but save as a draft for later as our staff move around. ((One minute they are at reception the next they could be on another PC in a different department.)
