Error after database migration

Hi All!

I was having some issues with database performance and after reading some discussions I dumped the database and restored into a new mysql server. After that I edited /include/ost-config.php with the new database details and restarted the web server.

When I now access my OSTickets installation I get a "Fatal Error: Contact system administrator." in the browser and an e-mail saying that access to the database was denied, however the details of the Mysql server that are on the e-mail are for the old mysql server.

Is there any other file to edit?

No idea what you think out-settings.php might be... but it is not a file in osTicket.
Did you perhaps mean to put the database information in /include/ost-config.php?

Then PHP is not talking to your database. It could be:

a typo in the ost-config.
a typo password or username when you created the dbuser in [unknown] database server
no privileges granted to username on database in [unknown] database server
unaccepted authentication request type in [unknown] database server

You should be able to look at you [unknown] database server error logs to determine what's going on (or post the errors here and we can help).
