[resolved] LDAP authentication: Only error "Access Denied"

I am trying to set up a osTicket site (latest version) on IIS running on Windows Server, for a client.

The site works, but LDAP authentication doesn't.
I've used the right LDAP configuration, followed tutorials and I've even changed it millions of times to see if I get any errors or something different.
I have also already activated and checked everything.
I do not have access to the AD machine.

There's only two errors:

When I set it to use TLS, there's a "cannot bind" error.
With the right configuration, and every other combination, the only error I get is on the Admin Panel Dashboard saying "Access Denied".

There are no PHP or IIS errors, so it's impossible to debug the issue. I have already activated them on their configuration.

How can I activate any kind of further logging, error, or something, on osTicket or even IIS, to help me debug this?

When you set it to use TLS and get the "cannot bind" error, they should have a corresponding log in their event viewer. If you can have them look for it I think that it might point you in the right direction. Also maybe their server does not require TLS. You would have to ask them.

The user that is doing the binding needs permissions to bind with AD (that is set on the account on the server). Did they give you a bind account?

Thanks for the response.

The problem was that the client gave me wrong account credentials for the AD server.

If the error messages is coming from the AD server, I think they should create more specific error messages.
