Hi,
I have, for some time, been unable to change my logo in 'Settings > Company > Logos'
I have changed it once in the past, and the system allows me to upload a new logo. When I select the 'delete' check box next to logos not in use, nothing happens when I click 'save changes'. So all I am able to do is continually upload logos. When I try and apply them and press 'save changes', nothing happens. The only thing that occurs whenever I press 'save changes' is that the following error shows: "Unable to update settings. Correct any errors below and try again." - but no error is displayed anywhere
I have been all through the forums and checked similar issues where the user just needed to resize or reformat the logo. Other cases they weren't selecting the correct options. As far as I can see, it is nothing as simple as that. Is there a location where the logos are stored or something? Or any other actions I can take? I have updated to 1.15.1 but it has been like this for years now.
I did at one point in time change attachments so they are stored in the filesystem rather than the database. This is because storing them in the database was causing it to grow in size at an excessive speed. The company logo may have been stored in the database prior to me switching.
Update: I found the currently displayed logo in the database ('file' table). I also found the other ones that I have been uploading. But still no idea how to resolve. Is there a way I can 'point' the system to look at a logo in the file system instead of the DB?
Thanks.
Kind regards,
ML
