Hi,

I have installed OSTicket on my hostinger cpanel for a website which deals with helping people with problems like Domestic violence, Bullying etc.

So their request is when a visitor comes to our site, they should be able to register first to open a ticket. Once registered, they should be able to open a ticket with asking for Visitor's name, Phone, email, State, Issue type dropdown (eg., Domestic Violence, Bullying) , then issue description, attachments and then submit button.

Once the form is submitted, this form should auto-assign to department based on the state the visitor selects.

For Example: if Catherine from Goa (State) having issue with Domestic Violence opens a ticket, this ticket should assign to Goa Team who handles Domestic Violence dept. so that those team can reply the visitors solve this issue legally or extend their support with NGO's.

Hope i have explained this clearly.

I wanted to know if anyone can assist me how to configure this setting on OSTicket.

The easiest way to do this is to use the Help Topic field to route the ticket to a Department for the state.
