I was wondering if there is a way to post a reply through the API successfully, I have found this issue in Github, but I don't know if the code it's currently working. Have anyone tried? https://github.com/osTicket/osTicket/pull/4361

There is no "Ticket Answer API". There is only the Ticket API which only allows opening of new tickets.
The PR that you quoted us one that was made by a 3rd party and was not accepted into core over two years ago.
